further out I have traveled
finding only empty babble
nothing clear to fill my ears
confusion far and near

without you I have roamed
listening for your breathless tone
a stunning, beating, heating drone
it fills me up, then knocks me down

staring out of an abandoned house
I lay me out to rest
my eyes wont shut, I sense your touch
upon my restless brow

never near, you have left me here
sitting on a shore
I swim out and out and out
until I can swim no more

I drown myself in your laughing mouth
and dive into your bowels
digested, wasted and used up
I surrender to your silence

I have lost myself in a sea of hues
grayscale, amber, blues
beaten, shaken and transformed
I've been taken under you
